Students will learn Jean’s signature Double Quilting technique, a unique approach that adds remarkable depth, dimension, and visual interest to quilted portraits. Along the way, you’ll explore pencil quilting free-motion “sketchy” quilting, and raw edge applique techniques that bring personality and detail to every stitch.
By the end of the workshop, you’ll leave with a finished quilted portrait, a collection of new quilting skills, and fresh inspiration for future creative projects. Whether you’re new to portrait quilting or looking to expand your artistic quilting techniques, this class offers a fun and rewarding experience.
