Description
This light/medium-weight Italian silk has a beautiful, matte look with a subtle, slubby texture. It has a light, fluid drape with a soft hand. This fabric is not fully opaque and may require a lining depending on the garment. It would make beautiful blouses, dresses, skirts, and more.
Wondering what deadstock means? Deadstock fabrics are left over from garment factories and textile mills. Instead of ending up in a landfill, this fabric comes to us! It can be a more sustainable option than newly manufactured fabrics and its a great way to get interesting garment fabrics (sometimes even designer pieces!).
