Very finely woven cotton on the bias, they fuzz on the edges but do not fray or unravel past that. You can finish the sides with a fray-check for a completely clean look.
Sold to you as precut unfolded labels, which you can fold and set into a seam, leaving a little 5/8″ square tab with the size printed on the front.
