Description
chmetz Chrome Finish ELx705CF Overlock Serger Needles is an ELX705 needle with a regular point and chrome finish. This needle is designed to use in electronic multi-purpose sergers that do overlock, cover, safety, and mock safety stitches. This needle has a long groove on both the front and back and a slightly larger scarf with a light ballpoint. The chrome finish (CF) reduces heat and wear and aids in gliding through the fabric. Consult your manual for the proper needle selection for your brand and model number.
Most Schmetz Needles include two color-coded bands just below the shank. The top color indicates the type of needle, and the lower color indicates the size. Most Schmetz overlock/serger needles will have a black color code on the top band. The bottom color bands on these needles will differ per size. Schmetz Chrome Finish ELx705CF Overlock Serger Needles are available as a pack of five needles in a plastic case that slides shut for safe storage. The needle system, needle type, and needle size are printed on the front of the case.
