Description

The Adjustable 1/4 Foot with Guide is a versatile presser foot designed to help you achieve precise 1/4 (6mm) or scant 1/4 seams for piecing and topstitching projects. Ideal for quilting, garments, and home décor, this foot ensures accuracy and professional results.

Piecing

Oval-shaped needle hole allows adjustable needle positions.

Distance from the needle center to the guide: 1/4 (6mm).

Snap-on installation; select a straight stitch.

For a 1/4 seam, center the needle. For a scant 1/4 seam, move the needle 12 steps to the right.

Place fabric pieces right sides together, aligning edges with the foot guide.

Sew along the guide and press the seam allowance.

Note: Adjust needle position depending on fabric and thread. Maximum movement: 3 steps in either direction. Do not use the straight stitch plate when using this foot.

Topstitching

Ideal for topstitching along seams, edges, or quilting lines.

Use straight stitch, triple straight stitch, or mock hand quilting stitch.

Adjust needle position as needed.

Guide runs in the ditch or along the fabric edge for precise placement.

Red markings on the foot help align fabric at the start, corners, and end of seams.
